Business Spot Light: Jon Deiter
We held an event at our MAC6 Park Lane location where we asked the businesses in our community to share how and why they got started. Jon Deiter is the CFO, and a Professional EOS Implementer, here at the MAC6 Broadway location. Here is what Jon had to say:

1- Why did you start your company?

EOS is a system and set of tools and disciplines that allow me to teach and work with teams of leaders to achieve their vision. This directly follows my passion of helping business owners and leadership teams get what they want from their business. My journey toward being a Professional EOS Implementer began with being part of the MAC6 team that self-implemented EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) for our internal use. We all read “Traction” by Gino Wickman and felt that his was a simple, effective management system that would work for us as well as for any leadership team. Scott, Kyle and I all took the training and became Professional EOS Implementers and EOS became part of the services MAC6 provides to clients through its Leadership Academy for High Performing Teams.

2- What has been the most surprising thing as you have grown your business?

How much fun I have doing this serious work with leadership teams. I think I discovered a latent enjoyment of teaching and EOS gives me an opportunity to teach and help business owners.
It is amazing how any issue a team encounters can be addressed by using a tool or discipline within the EOS Toolbox.

3- If you were to do it all over again what would you do differently?

This was not even on my radar screen three years ago. Joining the MAC6 team in 2014 as CFO started a series of events that led to me discovering EOS and gave me the opportunity to follow this passion for teaching and helping business owners with EOS. I can’t think of any other path that would have gotten me to this place.

4- Where do you hope to be in 10 years?

Doing EOS sessions with great clients that are achieving their dreams….. as well as enjoying semi-retirement, golf, travel and grand kids.

5- What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

Running used to be my main form of exercise and I completed several half-marathons and the Chicago Marathon. (Can’t say I ran the whole thing, but my objective was to finish and I did!)

That is all from Jon. One last message, What a Great event we hosted for Conscious Capitalism Arizona!
